RaneeC: "Pay It Forward" :)

I want to take this time to talk about something RaneeC has never touched base on. Beyond the span of fashion, tights, outer beauty etc.

"Pay It Forward" was made into a movie in 2000, following the novel written by CATHERINE RYAN HYDE. I've watched the movie before, just like any other inspirational movie out there. But this time, it really touched me. There's something similar in me as is in the movie - the belief in goodness in humanity.

Vague, you would think. But no, it's real. Pay it forward movement is very much still in society, expanding day after day, across nations. There are real life stories everyday of people changing others' lives (Pay It Forward Movement). Something seemingly insignificant as a social science class project has turned into an international movement to do good to society, changing the world one step at a time, for 10 years now.

RaneeC has never touched base on social movements, or any social cause. That is because I personally think that there're way too many out there to concern ourselves with. There are so many people dying of hunger in Africa, China, and other places. There are people getting killed by incurable diseases. There are suffering children and old age. How much can we help? What's the extent? Donating money only cures our empathy and realization of our inability.

However, "pay it forward" is actually something every person is capable of doing. Help three people around you with things they themselves cannot do. It doesn't have to be something big, but change a little at a time! Spread the love and spread the message!

Smile! :)
